As Creative Director, I led the complete rebranding of the Iowa Ideas Conference, transforming it into a statewide annual event with a distinct thematic identity that audiences could anticipate year after year. I developed the visual framework, messaging platform, and creative strategy that shaped every touchpoint of the conference, from advertising and social media to video content, session graphics, and web design. My work included hands-on design, copywriting, motion graphics, and video production, as well as cross-department collaboration with editorial teams to support their content needs.
When the event shifted to a virtual format, I introduced new design approaches that enhanced the digital experience and expanded accessibility. The refreshed brand and integrated campaigns contributed to record participation and increased annual sponsorship revenue, solidifying Iowa Ideas as a trusted statewide forum for meaningful civic dialogue.
